Das "Muss" unter jedem Kleid des 18. Jahrhunderts. Eine Chemise aus sehr feiner, weicher Baumwolle am Ausschnitt garniert mit Baumwollspitze. Die Schnittführung ist typisch für das 18.Jahrhundert, da seitlich am Saum und unter dem Ärmel Keile eingesetzt sind. Die Weite der Ärmel ist an Schulter und am Ärmel-Äußeren gereicht, so dass er beim tragen ohne Kleid ein schön gepufftes Ärmel ergibt. Interessant ist auch der Ausschnitte, welcher bei locker gelassenen Bändern sehr groß ist, jedoch mit einem Zug auch hochgeschlossen werden kann.

Wichtiger Hinweis!!! Die Chemise war im 18.JH nicht nur schmückendes Dessous, sondern in erster Linie Schutz für das Kleid, so dass nicht durch Schweiß o.ä. darunter litt.

The "must" under every 18th century dress! A chemise made of very fine, soft cotton, at the neckline with cotton lace. The cut is typical for the 18th century, as wedges are inserted on the sides of the hem, and under the arm. The width of the sleeves is gathered at the shoulder and outside the sleeve, so that,when wearing without a dress, a beautifully puffed sleeve will be seen. Interesting is the neckline, which is very large with loosely left tapes, but can also be highly locked when the tapes are drawn.

Attention!! a chemise was in 18th Century not only decorative lingerie, but in the first place protection for the gown from  sweat or similar. So... protect your gown
